Governmental Requirements
- All limos are required to summit an application to the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) for approval. Pure Elegance Limousine Service, LLC is recognized by the PUC and has met all requirements.
- A United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) application & approval must be in place for all limos crossing state lines. Pure Elegance Limousine Service, LLC is recognized by the USDOT and has met all requirements.
- All limo companies crossing state lines must have a USDOT number and company name on both sides of all vehicles. If a company does not, this is an indicator that they are not properly licensed and probably are not insured, putting you at risk.
- If any company crosses state lines and are not USDOT compliant, their vehicle can be seized immediately and you are on your own to find a way home. This would not be good if it is your wedding day.
- Also, if any limo company crosses state lines, they have to be registered and compliant with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association (FMCSA). Pure Elegance Limousine Service, LLC is recognized by the FMCSA and has met all requirements.
- Upon request, Pure Elegance Limousine Service, LLC can provide proof of all certification and insurance.
Insurance Requirements
- $1,500,000 insurance coverage is required to transport between 1-15 people, including the driver.
- $5,000,000 insurance coverage is required to transport 16 or more people, including the driver.
All companies that are not compliant due so to cut corners and save money, which means they may cut corners on repairs and maintenance also.
